How can you tell good leather?

The genuine leather feels smooth, soft, and flexible in hands, but you can distinctly say the texture is grainy. Genuine leather has a pleasant sweet smell, it's not supposed to smell with chemicals. Also, high-quality leather is a breathable, “lively” material that gains the character of being bent, scratched, or used. The quality of leather can be proven with neat stitching, as well.
